Safe Childhood: Protecting Every Child from Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, nurturing, and protective environment. Yet many children in underserved communities face abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harmful practices that rob them of their dignity and potential.

The Safe Childhood & Protection Programme by EHECWI is committed to safeguarding children’s rights and ensuring their protection at home, in school, and within their communities.

This programme focuses on child protection awareness campaigns, community sensitization on child rights laws, prevention of gender-based violence, anti-child labor advocacy, and reporting mechanisms for abuse cases. EHECWI collaborates with schools, parents, community leaders, and relevant authorities to strengthen child safeguarding systems.

We conduct workshops for parents and caregivers on positive parenting techniques and non-violent discipline methods. We also engage children directly—educating them about their rights, personal safety, and how to seek help when needed.

Beyond awareness, EHECWI supports vulnerable children through referrals for psychosocial support, legal assistance partnerships, and educational continuity programs for at-risk children.

Protecting children is not optional—it is a moral and national responsibility. Through the Safe Childhood & Protection Programme, EHECWI is building communities where children are valued, heard, and protected from harm.
